Black Experience Book Club Facilitator
Paid Position
The YMI Cultural Center is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to develop a comprehensive Business Development Plan that includes heritage tourism strategies, arts and culture programming, leasing approaches, and special event/convention pricing. The consultant will also prepare an updated strategic plan and a fundraising plan with endowment projections to help determine long-term sustainability and guide future capital decisions, including the potential development of a Front Porch Museum.
This contract runs from January through April/May.

The YMI Cultural Center is seeking a dynamic Workforce Development Coordinator to support the Spectrum Workforce Program. This contractor will recruit participants, develop and facilitate culturally responsive workforce curriculum, manage cohort programming, coordinate guest trainers, track program outcomes, and support administrative needs. The role requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and the establishment of at least two program cohorts during the contract period.
This is an independent contractor position with hourly compensation.

The YMI Cultural Center is looking for an engaging storyteller and avid reader to facilitate cross racial dialogue around concepts from Black authors. We are looking for someone who will choose these books, research each author and ask interesting questions to the group!
