3rd Annual Black Storytellers: A Black History Month Celebration
Join us for our 3rd Annual Black Storytellers event, an evening dedicated to honoring Black voices, stories, and creative expression in celebration of Black History Month. This year, we are spotlighting the power of storytelling through literature and live performance, featuring authors and artists whose work reflects the depth, resilience, and lived experiences of Black communities.
The evening will feature an author panel with:
Aisha Adams — author of This Is What Made Me and founder of Aisha Adams Media Group
Tanya Davis — author of THREADS: A Tapestry of Life in the Black Community of Shiloh and Beyond
Paula Swepson — author of Shift Happens
Following the panel, enjoy a powerful live performance by Penny Meacham & the Black Diamond Performance Troupe on the historic YMI stage.
This event is open to the community and invites attendees to listen, reflect, and celebrate the richness of Black storytelling in all its forms.
